The Glendale Youth Alliance (GYA) is the nonprofit arm of the City of Glendale, Community Services & Parks Workforce Development Department. GYA has been providing youth employment training programs for low-income and disadvantaged youth ages 14-24 since 1993. Our goal is to provide a foundation for youth to learn job skills, develop career interests, and to become productive members of the workforce and our community. We have provided first time employment and training to approximately 14,550 local youth. The mission of GYA is to provide, coordinate, and support youth employment programs that have a positive impact on the future workforce and our community.
